Review the application types below to find the application that's right for you based on your current status.
Certificates you may apply for if you have previously held or currently hold a Washington Administrator Certificate.
The application that needs to be completed will vary depending upon the current or most previous certificate held. This list also contains limited administrator certificates that must be initiated by a Washington State employer on behalf of the educator.
Renewal Process Change Note: Renewal certificates will now have two deadline dates to meet. The On-Time Application Date of January 1 and the Uniform Expiration Date of June 30. Renewal applications submitted after January 1 of the expiration year will be considered late and subject to an additional processing fee. This change does not affect Limited, Paraeducator, or Residency Reissuance certificates and late applications will not be charged a late fee until January 2030 ().
